About SEE Transnational Cooperation Programme

The South East Europe Transnational Cooperation Programme is an instrument in the framework of the Regional Policy’s Territorial Cooperation Objective. It aims to improve integration and competitiveness in a complex, full of challenges and diverse area, which covers Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, parts of Italy, the Republic of Macedonia, Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania, and parts of Ukraine.

It financially supports projects focused on 4 Priority Areas:

  • Facilitation of Innovation and Entrepreneurship
  • Protection and Improvement of the Environment
  • Improvement of the Accessibility
  • Development of transnational synergies for sustainable growth areas

“Jointly for our common future” is the slogan chosen by the 16 countries involved in this Programme for the period 2007-2013. The Programme management in based in Budapest, Hungary.
